What’s this? You guys may ask……..It’s a woman waiting to hear about her sister, a teacher, following the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut, December 14th 2012. Like many of you, you may heard about this tragedy from your teacher during the afternoon, just like you I am shivering listening to this and watching it. 20 Children, at an Elementary School died, 20 precious little kids who weren’t able to grow up, get married, be with their family, accomplish their every dreams. And 6 adults/faculty who died, saving the lives of these kids, they are heroes. Doing everything they could in their ability, sacrificing their life and the whole school to save these kids. R.I.P.
My condolences goes to the family of these people the kids and the heroes.

utterly tragic.

This is so heartbreaking, my thoughts are with the families; can’t imagine what they’re going through.

Still shivering about this at the moment.

The woman in the top photo is Carlee Soto, waiting to hear news about her sister, a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary.

The woman in the second photo is Victoria Soto, Carlees sister. Soto was apparently pushing the children into a closet when she was confronted by Lanza. She put herself between the gunman and the children and that’s when she was tragically shot and killed. When she became aware there was a gunman in the school, she hid her first-graders in closets and cabinets, then told the shooter they were in the gym. He turned the gun on Soto, killing her, but none of her students were harmed.

You are a hero Victoria, and no one will ever forget the amazing thing you did for your students. Only the good die young, may you rest in peace. Such a beautiful soul.
